Hu Chunhua Presided Over the Second Plenary Meeting of the Organizing Committee of the 2020 CIFTIS

　　The second plenary meeting of the Organizing Committee of the 2020 China International Fair for Trade in Services ("CIFTIS") was held on August 28 in Beijing. Hu Chunhua, Vice Premier of the State Council and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, presided over the meeting and gave an opening speech.

　　Cai Qi, Secretary of Beijing Municipal Party Committee and the first Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee, attended the meeting.

　　Hu Chunhua pointed out that the 2020 CIFTIS was about to kick off, and the preparations were in their final stages. The member units have achieved good results and steady implementation of various preparations through hard work to overcome the impact of the epidemic in the early stage. In the next step, we need to make persistent efforts to further enhance the sense of urgency, intensify our work in accordance with the determined work deployment, and go all out to make all the preparations for the final stage and the service guarantee work after the opening, with a view to ensuring the complete success of the Fair, and achieving the goal of creating "the world's most influential and international first-class fair for trade in services".

　　Hu Chunhua emphasized that all member units should strengthen coordination and cooperation, further refine their work plans, conduct drills covering the entire process and all factors, and make every effort to ensure the success of the opening ceremony; effectively strengthen the prevention and control of the epidemic, and strictly implement the prevention and control measures throughout the entire process and all links of the Fair; carefully design online and offline display content and enhance the display effect, especially optimize the online exhibition areas and display content with technical means; strengthen the release of major policy achievements and industry reports, promote matchmaking negotiations, and strive to achieve more significant achievements and enhance the impact of the Fair; comprehensively improve the level of service guarantee, solidly carry out risk investigation and security measures, and actively promote media coverage.
