Bank of Ningbo was established on April 10, 1997. In July 2007, it became the first domestic city commercial bank to be listed on the A-share market. After more than 20 years of persistent efforts, it has developed into a Chinese-foreign joint venture listed bank with well-operating conditions. In recent years, the Bank has continued to accumulate comparative advantages and strive to improve risk management capabilities. The sustainable development of the bank has been continuously enhanced. As of the end of 2019, our bank's total assets were 1,317.713 billion yuan, and net profit was 13.714 billion yuan.

In November 2013, Bank of Ningbo initiated the establishment of Yongying Fund Management Co., Ltd.; in May 2015, Yongying Financial Leasing Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bank of Ningbo, officially opened; in June 2019, Bank of Ningbo Capital Operation Center opened in Shanghai.
Bank of Ningbo Beijing Branch was established on December 14, 2010, and moved to the new location of the Space Bridge in Haidian District on February 19, 2014. It has 23 departments including corporate banking, investment banking, international business, financial markets, and personal banking, and has jurisdiction over the sales department, Zhongguancun, Fengtai, Dongcheng, Wangjing, Asian Games Village, Shijingshan, Shunyi, Tongzhou, Xicheng Technology, Haidian Technology, and Guangcai over 12 business outlets with a total of 1,586 employees.
